Weni is a doctoral researcher in the ‘Digital Construction Archive’ project at the Institute for Technology in Architecture (ITA) and the Institute for Heritage Conservation and Historical Building Research (IDB) at ETH Zurich. Her research focuses on the maintenance, repair, and archiving of digitally fabricated architecture.
After her studies at the Technical University of Munich and the Technical University of Vienna, Weni completed her master’s degree at TUM as part of the ‘Computational Methods in Architecture’ mentoring program. Her master’s thesis on the digital archiving of tangible and intangible heritage in Beijing’s hutongs was supervised by the Chair of Architectural Informatics and the Chair of Restoration, Art Technology and Conservation Science. Her studies were supported by the BayChina Scholarship and the Deutschlandstipendium.
Weni taught at the Chair of Architectural Informatics at the Technical University of Munich and co-founded Hadaimages in 2022, specializing in architectural visualizations and building documentations.
