Stefania is a Doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Technology in Architecture (ITA) and the Institute for Preservation and Construction History (IDB) at ETH Zürich. She holds an M.Sc in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano (2020) and an M.Arch from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2019). Her research explores the intersections of architecture, collective memory and virtual space, particularly in relation to loss and the role of digital memory.
Stefania has collaborated with academic and cultural institutions across Italy, Chile, Spain, and Switzerland. In 2024, she was selected as a researcher for the Biennale College ASAC program of the Biennale di Venezia and participated in the Biennale Svizzera del Territorio in Lugano. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences, including those organized by the European Research on Architecture and Urbanism (EURAU) in 2024 in Milan and the European Architectural History Network (EAHN) in 2025 in Porto.
Alongside her research, she has gained professional experience in architecture studios in Santiago de Chile, Madrid, and Zurich.
