Curriculum Vitae

Moritz Wick has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Construction Heritage and Historic Preservation at ETH Zurich since August 2026. He completed an apprenticeship as a architectural draftsman in St. Gallen and subsequently studied architecture at the FHNW in Basel and at ETH Zurich, where he graduated in 2024. During his training, he gained professional experience at architectural firms in Switzerland as well as through internships in California and Canada. In his master’s thesis, he examined the architectural heritage of Après-Ski in Davos.

In parallel to his work at ETH Zurich, Moritz leads the Bauatlas Appenzellerland, a digital knowledge portal on historic architecture and a pilot project for a national platform dedicated to promoting “Baukultur”. He has also contributed to publications in the “Swissmonographies” book series and carried out his own architectural projects, particularly renovations of historic structures.
