Matthias Brücke is an architect and has been a teaching assistant at ETH Zurich since 2022. From 2022 to spring 2025, he was an assistant at Prof. Andrea Deplazes’ Chair of Design and Construction, and since summer 2025 he is working at the Designstudio Langenberg + Bischof Föhn. After graduating in 2008, Matthias Brücke worked with stonemason Ruedi Krebs, assisting him in the creation of lime floors and lime plasters. In London he assisted architectural photographer Helene Binet. As an architect Matthias Brücke contributed to the ‘Superblock’ in Winterthur (Atelier Krischanitz) and the new building for the University of Applied Sciences in Muttenz (Pool Architekten), among other projects. He is currently working on the conversion and renovation of the historic vineyard house ‘Zum Chranz’ in Zurich Höngg.
