Guest lecture by Nina Irmert and Matthias Brenner at the Design Studio Tom Emerson in the autumn semester 2025 on aluminium as a building material in Swiss architecture from 1920 to 1980 and on novel repair strategies. The «Understory» studio uses narrative and design to study aluminium building elements and their potential repurposing.
